The Three Gorges Metropolis Daily: Recently, our reporter came to the construction site of the highlighted Symax project in the Science and Technology Park of Wanzhou Economic and Development zone and saw that the No.1 and No.2 steel structure factory buildings were under construction, which aimed at pilot production by the end of the year.

Construction Accelerated

In the No.1 factory building, workers were installing steel structure in order. The central beam of the factory building has been set up and several workers were assembling the steel beam.

“The project has two buildings with a total area of 16,000 square meters!” Project manager Wang Daoming said to reporter. He said that the No.1 factory building began to install steel structure in early June and its framework had nearly been completed with the roof panel installation finished by 50%. When the No.1 factory building was being constructed, the construction materials of No.2 building had been ready.

“Our construction procedure has been planned carefully, so as to facilitate the later lifting rather than lifting one by one.” In the interview, a lifting work told reporter that the construction procedure had been carefully designed to increase efficiency and accelerate the construction progress. He also told the reporter that the No.1 factory building would be completed in about 20 days!

Working Hours Reasonably Arranged

The interview was conducted at 10 a.m. Although the temperature became higher and higher, it still complied with the relevant regulations.

“To meet the schedule, we have adjusted working hours for high temperature. We are on duty from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.” The field manager told the reporter. In view of the high temperature, the construction unit adjusted the working hours to make good use of the early morning and night times, so as to avoid from affecting the construction schedule.

The reporter asked several workers immediately. They said they were satisfied with the arrangement of the working time.

According to the field manager, the steel structure of No.2 factory building would be installed in two or three days owing to the reasonable construction schedule and the current construction progress. It was expected that the No.1 and No.2 factory buildings would be completed in the middle of October. And then the preparation for production would be started.

Pilot Production Expected by the End of the Year

In the interview, the reporter heard that project was on schedule. At the same time, all the related work followed up and the whole construction work was implemented in an orderly way.
Zhou Libing, Operation Director of Symax Wanzhou project, told the reporter that they were working at the process planning, purchasing of equipment, and human resource planning, aiming at pilot production by the end of the year.
“Our sale almost doubles with respect to the effective orders and shipments.” Zhou Libing told the reporter. With the launch of Chongqing factory, next year the sale of Symax in southwest market was expected to double.
It was said that this RMB120 million elevator project is a highlighted project of Wanzhou. It would manufacture over 4,000 sets of production building-type lifts, commercial lifts, escalators and travolaters annually, with these products covering the whole southwest region. Symax Lift is headquartered in Wuxi, Jaingsu in China. After the completion of the Wanzhou production base, a batch of new products will be manufactured in Wanzhou.
